Exanthropos is an experimental grimoire devoted to the deliberate transformation of human identity beyond its inherited biological, psychic, and symbolic limits. Rather than treating the human form as a final condition, Edgar Kerval approaches it as a temporary architecture: a mutable structure capable of being fractured, shed, reconfigured, and opened toward forms of consciousness that no longer recognize humanity as their absolute center.
Through a sequence of post-human magical operations, the book explores the shedding of the familiar self, the emergence of secondary and dream-bodies, the dissolution of species identity, the accumulation of inner potency, and the gradual formation of what Kerval calls the Exanthropos: the form that appears when the human image ceases to dominate consciousness. Concepts such as Acausal Soma, Umbra Morphosis, Oneirotopos, Allopsychia, and Xenognosis describe stages in this mutation, leading the practitioner toward contact with alien modes of perception, possible selves, daimonic intelligences, and realities organized beyond ordinary human measure.
At the core of the work lies a radical question: what remains when the individual stops interpreting existence exclusively through the human body, human memory, and human identity? Through dream geography, exteriorization, eidolic symbiosis, black-serpent metamorphosis, and the dissolution of the anthropocentric self, Exanthropos develops a ritual language for entering that uncertain territory where identity becomes fluid and consciousness begins to recognize itself through unfamiliar forms.
Neither a conventional treatise on transhumanism nor a traditional magical manual, Exanthropos presents post-human magick as an Ars Mutatoria, an art of intentional mutation in which the practitioner becomes both laboratory and living experiment. Its final aim is not the perfection of the human being, but the opening of consciousness toward what may exist after the human center has dissolved: strange bodies, other minds, new interior worlds, and forms of existence still waiting to be imagined, contacted, and embodied.
